The first Noche de Niños Gala benefiting Childrens Hospital Los Angeles was held
              at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 honoring Jennifer Lopez.

              Starring Marc Anthony, Joaquin Cortes, Alejandro Sans and Carlos Baute.
                  Hosted by George Lopez with special Guest Star Leonarado DiCaprio.

    A message from Giselle:

      Noche de Niños was the dream of a little boy who made me promise I'd
do all I could to let the world know that kids with cancer need help. Dustin Meraz
was just ten years old when battling a devastating cancer, but was intent on leaving
behind a legacy of caring. The gala was inspired in his honor to bring the best in
Latin talent to the forefront with the best from the Hollywood and business communities.

      Together, in a collaborative effort we raised more than two million dollars.
It was a smashing success and a soul fulfilling accomplishment for me personally.
I was honored to carry out Dustin's dream of sharing his story with the world and
inspiring others to care and raise awareness. Certainly if he could make such a
profound difference in his short life under such terrible circumstances, we as
adults can do the same.
